Remote Learning Overview

Please note that this page is being updated regularly and therefore new links or information will be added - please keep checking back here to see.  Our policy is just below this box and can be downloaded.

In September 2020, all our classes returned to full-time education following the Covid-19 closure in March. Although we hope that the majority of our children will now have an uninterrupted experience, there is the possibility that an individual child, a class bubble, or indeed the whole school, will need to self-isolate for a period of time. We have therefore put in place a plan for remote learning so that all children can continue with their education. This meets the expectations set out in the DfE guidance ‘Remote Education Support’

We are working as quickly as we can to make some really good quality resources for children to use at home.  Whether you are using a laptop, desktop, tablet or phone, your child should be able to access resources that they can use.

Our team of staff are learning all the time, so please be patient.  If you're having trouble logging in, please e-mail and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

There are some notes pages attached here to help you through the various sections.

All children on roll at Trenance have free access to MS Office 365, including Teams, where they will meet with their teachers and peers in the event of school closure.

To log on, either type in the browser at the top of an internet page, or click on the picture of the beach on the class page under the curriculum tab of this website.  (Your child will need their teams log in information).

Please remember that this is still internet based and therefore we recommend that you supervise what your children are doing.  If you (or your child) see anything which is upsetting or inappropriate, please follow contact the school immediately.

We are pleased to share with you an overview of our Remote Learning Plan
